REMINDERS

Please check your child's planner each day to see what homework is assigned for that day. In the middle school, homework is assigned daily and not weekly. Lessons sometimes take longer than the planned time so homework is assigned as lessons are completed.

Click on the links below to read about expectations for the math and science classroom and requirements for homework.

SEPTEMBER 19, 2018 BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT!! 6-8 PM

MATH MAINTENANCE is very important in middle school math. Every week we will complete a maintenance sheet - students must make sure they are making corrections and asking questions when I ask, "Any questions?" At the end of the week, there will be a 5 question quiz on the maintenance sheet. I will choose 5 problems from the sheet and put them on the quiz. PLEASE encourage your child(ren) to study these sheets because maintaining math skills is essential in order for the students to do higher level math problems. We do go over EVERY problem!

**REMEMBER MATH MAINTENANCE QUIZZES USUALLY WILL BE EVERY WEEK

On the link below, there is a copy of the invitation letter for the Lehigh Valley Science & Engineering Research Fair. I encourage you to discuss this with your child(ren) because it is a great opportunity. There is link for the papers that need to be filled out to participate in the fair. They cannot be filled out online but you can print them and then fill them out: print neatly and clearly please. If you cannot print the pages, have your child ask me and I will make copies. Thank you for your continued support!
